two consecutive weeks of good food and treating my tummy right. in fact this streak spillover to the month of january. i've got way too many backdated food pictures to be uploaded on this little blog of mine. way too many. cafe hunts, random recipes. my life revolves around food and just..... food.
wished i could get people involved in it though.

clearly explained the reason why i gained 4kgs in total since last october (i'm dead serious i went to weigh myself yesterday) good luck to me because i aint even helping myself or doing anything about it and it's cny, i cant resist tidbits and snacks if you know me well. fuck resolutions.

attempting to try to complete posting photos from december in this or probably the next few entries - i supposed a few cafes | restos will get their own post. what poor attempt i guess. i mean seriously, x'mas was way long gone..

bestie @evonlock was my christmas date! we made our way to serangoon garden estate. since it was christmas, many cafes were closed. so i was researching, and lucky enough, chillax massage cafe (which was on my list of cafesrestos to visit) was available,

i mean you can tell from it's name that it's not just a cafe, but a massage parlour as well on the second level. i get really amazed by all these dual-concept spaces. we've heard of hairloom and caramel (hair salon and cafe), manicurious (manicure and cafe), made w lauren jasmine, fullhouse, and all the cafes retail along haji lane, ann siang, and so on. what fun ideas! loved how this place is stocked up w old school knick knacks.

ordered iced matcha and horlicks latte instead of the usual hot cuppas to beat the warm weather (super concentrated)

had a tough time deciding what to eat, as usual. unagi omelette sounds really yummy, and of course, the pancakes. i've seen pictures of it online, arranged so fancifully! the truffle fries were supposed to be good too. well, in the end bestie went w the ultimate english breakfast, and myself, - the breakfast at tiffany's (egg benedict w focaccia bread); slightly different from the usual egg benny we seen at the other cafes. this one seems as if like it's much healthier w the peas, haha but of course we know that isnt the case. apparently the yuzu infused hollandaise made it's color much more brighter. the food was just mediocre though, but the company made it up for it! so thankyou @evonlock ^.^

jm took us to social haus on boxing day! heard about this joint for quite sometime (because it's right opposite the famous 40hands), finally checked this place out. we thought that they served an all day brunch menu, but we were wrong :( meh, slightly disappointed at first. they only do, like most cafes, on weekends. we went ahead w their lunch special, a two course meal; choice of classic fish and chips or grilled chicken chop. the food again, was just alright, but definitely priced reasonably. we stayed around forever, and had a great catch up after not meeting for quite a while.

(some snapshots) we then took a walk along the growing favorite singapore gem:
